Sun thickened linseed oil is lighter in color and more viscous than Varnish Makers Linseed Oil. It is made by exposing linseed oil in metal pans to sunlight for about 2 months here in Wisconsin.

Current material is approx. 6.5 times as viscous as raw linseed oil.
