Candelilla wax is harvested from the leaves of a plant grown in Mexico. Its melting point is only slightly lower than Carnauba Wax. It has the same desirable properties of hardness and high polish as Carnauba and is used in conjunction with Carnauba to make an emulsified wax described by master woodfinisher George Frank.
